It’s been a while since my last post. Apologies for that. I’ve been trying to catch up on all my projects plus I haven’t been well for a while plus studies require a lot of me.
Today’s post is on random products I’ve tried and liked over the past two weeks , so let’s get down to it.
First up is the DermaFix Circlelight Dark Circle Corrector. I got this from www.dermafix.co.za for R415. It is supposed to smooth the eye contours and reduce eye bags. I like how light if feels and how easily it absorbs into the skin. It doesn’t have an immediate effect but after using it for 3 months my eye contours are more hydrated and visibly smoother. I really like this cream but it is effective only over prolonged periods.
Keeping with the previous theme, let me introduce you to these babies. Zinplex Eyes Blink Gorgeous Eyes are eye gel pads you place over your eyes and they are supposed to hydrate and minimise puffiness and fine lines. Okay, so they won’t rid you of wrinkles in 20 minutes, but they are a useful addition to my “morning-after-the-night-before” survival pack. Place them in the fridge the morning after an eventful night and they will rid your eyes of all tiredness and puffiness. Your eyes will feel and look better after one use. I really like them and they are very useful.
A killer smile is an absolute must and I love this Pearl Drops Ultimate Whitening “system”. I’ve used it for just over 3 weeks and my teeth are roughly 3 shades whiter. I still use my regular toothpaste with this system though (Sensodyne) because I have sensitivity issues. I don’t smoke or drink coffee excessively, so I didn’t get this because I have issues. I just like a good-looking smile and I don’t feel I need clinical intervention just yet.
Lastly is this (insert angel-music-clouds-parting-light-from-above-shining-down-on-this-product): The Body Shop Baked-to-Last Bronzer. Moment of silence please. It comes in two shades (1 and 2) and I use shade 1. It is stunning and very “natural” looking. I use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones, nose bridge and cleavage. It is subtle but sneaky. It gives a dewy, not too shiny (not metallic at all) glow. I am soooooo obsessed. Go to your nearest Clicks or Body Shop store and try it out.
That’s it from me for this week. Shazz, sending you love and light and I will definitely post again next week…
