All about the hands…

Hello world,

Hands, Hands, Glorious, Hands… It’s amazing how we spend so much time and effort in making sure our faces, hair, legs are well taken care of, but we tend to neglect our hands. We get our nails done and tick the hands box as completed. This post is all about my favourite (tried and tested) hand products.

I found these amazing Hand Sanitising Spritzers at Woolworths (R39.95). They come in a variety of scents, but I like the rooibos and honey bush one the most. What I really like about this sanitiser is that it is not the usual gel or foam, which can sometimes leave a sticky residue. One spray and quick rub in and all you have left is the scent. The bottle is slightly bigger that my usual sanitiser foam, but my bag is also ginormous, so no complaints from me.

Next is the Woolworths Love Your Hands Anti-ageing Brightening Serum. This comes in a small pump bottle. Again, a favourite of mine. I use this twice a day, after washing my hands and follow it up with a hand lotion. It has a fresh smell, but nothing so strong as to compete with the scent of your hand cream. Completely non-sticky and easily absorbed.

My night time ritual is still the same as mentioned in one of my earlier posts ( I still use the Filorga Hand-Filler Gloves and the Skin Republic Hand Repair treatment. I use these products three nights a week to keep my hands supple and moisturised. The gloves are awesome for plumping and keeping wrinkles at bay and the hand treatment gives a deep moisturising effect. I’m lucky to have great nails, so I use cuticle oil only when I remember to, which is not often (maybe once a week, at best). But I would really recommend cuticle massage with oil as often as possible. I’m still working on it…

That’s it from me for this week. See you next week when I’ll be going through my favourite gadgets. Shazz, sending you love and light.

  1. As always thanks for the tips and recommendations of products. I’ve always neglected my hands and the results show. Guess it’s never too late. The sooner I start the better especially now that winter is knocking at the door.
